The Silver Grasshopper jewellery

Each piece of jewellery is made completely by hand using only a tiny hacksaw and The Silver Grasshopper’s original designs.


Our warranty and faulty items

-During the warranty period of 6 months, we will repair or replace any jewellery that is faulty due to improper materials or workmanship, free of charge.
-All of our jewellery is checked before leaving to their new home but please get in touch as soon as possible if your item has arrived damaged.
-Items damaged during normal wear and tear are not considered faulty and will not be covered by the warranty.


Jewellery Care

-Silver tarnish can be removed using a silver polish cloth to bring you jewellery back to its beautiful shine.

-To avoid scratches it is advisable to keep your jewellery in it’s original box or in a jewellery box separate from your other pieces.

-Take special care with the chain to avoid tangles, especially snake chains which should be kept flat to avoid kinking.

-Many things can discolour the silver and it is advisable to apply perfume before putting on the necklace and taking off while shower, swimming, sleeping or doing a high activity sport.


-We hope that you are in love with your jewellery, however, if for any reason you would like to you must return the product within 14 days of being bought. We are not responsible for paying return postage. To make sure package is returned safely we advice you to use special delivery, we are not responsible for jewellery being lost during return journey.

– If a piece of jewellery is specially designed for a customer or personalised in any way, this can not be returned.

-Resizing of rings : Rings can be resized at additional price, customer responsible for the postage Both to and from us (we suggest trackable, secure mail and to keep the proof of postage. We are not responsible for any loss during posting).


Bespoke pieces

-Bespoke pieces are any piece of jewellery that is designed by the customer or any piece that is personalised – such as stamped letters or hearts cut out in a specific place for the customer. As these are personalised they can not be returned.

– Bespoke pieces can not be refunded due to them being personalised. You will be asked for your design fee of £50 (which is take off the final cost) and then the two instalments. The first one is taken after the designs have been okayed. The second instalment is asked for just before completing the piece.

– All confirmations of sizes eg. ring, bangle.. will be final so please make sure you are 100% sure. Some things will not be able to be resized but if it’s possible we will do this for you with additional cost.



-As each piece is handmade please allow two weeks before delivery, I post all items using First class recorded mail.
-Return of non faulty/resizing items is to be paid by the customer.
-During purchase you are sent an invoice in the email, being mindful of paper waste I do not send a copy in your mail. Simply let me know if you would like a printed out copy as well.

Please note

Due to each piece being made to order you’re lovely piece of jewellery may take up to 3 weeks for it to arrive. And as they are all handmade there will be small quirks in the design that set it apart from other pieces, unlike manufactured pieces.

I try and keep pictures true to life but the image may vary from true life due to the camera angles, lighting and computer/tablet screens. This may make the colour of stones appear slightly different to real life.
